GroupGrid

Privacy Policy

How GroupGrid handles puzzle links, browser-based puzzle data, and basic site usage information.

Last updated: June 2026.

GroupGrid is a browser-based custom grouping puzzle maker. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you create, play, and share puzzles on GroupGrid.

You can use GroupGrid without creating an account. The first version of GroupGrid does not require you to provide a name, email address, password, payment information, or other account details.

When you create a puzzle, the puzzle content may include the title, author name, description, group names, words, difficulty labels, and explanations that you choose to enter. This puzzle data is encoded into the playable link you generate.

Anyone who receives or opens a shared puzzle link may be able to view and play that puzzle. Do not include private, sensitive, confidential, or personal information in puzzle titles, words, group names, descriptions, or explanations.

GroupGrid does not use a user account system in the first version. We do not intentionally collect personal profile information from puzzle creators or players.

Some site features use your browser to make the service work. For example, GroupGrid may read URL parameters to load a puzzle, use browser clipboard features to copy a puzzle link, or keep temporary interface state while you are using the page.

Puzzle links are designed to be shareable. If you post a puzzle link publicly, other people may access the puzzle content through that link.

We may use hosting providers, performance tools, security tools, or privacy-friendly analytics to operate the site, understand basic usage, diagnose technical issues, and improve GroupGrid. These tools may process basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, referring pages, approximate region, and interaction events.

The first version of GroupGrid does not require cookies for login, payment, or account personalization. If analytics, advertising, personalization, or other features are added later, cookies or similar technologies may be used and this Privacy Policy should be updated.

GroupGrid may include links to third-party websites or allow users to share links outside GroupGrid. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites.

GroupGrid is intended as a general puzzle creation and playing tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through puzzle content, please contact the site owner so the issue can be reviewed.

We take reasonable steps to keep the site reliable and safe, but no website or online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for avoiding sensitive information in content that you choose to share.

We may update this Privacy Policy as GroupGrid changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact the site owner through the contact method provided on GroupGrid.
